May 18th: Glass Painting by Brynn Sakaria

From Brynn:

This specific piece I painted onto glass is a bit of an older one. It is a redesign of my very first original character, the one that inspired me to keep drawing and pursing art. I remember the first time I drew her, I felt so accomplished and so excited, seeing what I could creative with my own hands. It now stays hung up on my wall as a reminder of my progress and inspiration, and every year or so I come back to the drawing and recreate it. I sometimes cringe at the imperfections I now see as I advance, but I always come back to the memory of that feeling when I first created her. I encourage you, whether it’s painting, drawing, writing, crafts, music, or anything else, pursue it! You’ll only grow more with time. Put the effort in and you will see progress!
